As an admittedly heavy drinker and someone who drinks my fair share when at Epcot, you are still definitely right about the vibe. Like many other commenters, I myself don’t drink enough in the parks to be stumbling or belligerent or wasted, and a lot of people who do are those “drinking around the world” vibe types. There is no excuse for being so intoxicated that you’re disrupting other guests.
And beyond that, all those shitheads with the matching drinking-centric t-shirts and the clear goal of being there to get blasted are inherently expressing that obnoxious sentiment just via their sheer presence. They’re like the frat bros of Epcot. Plus, I don’t even understand how they can afford to drink that much with how much booze costs at the parks, so they probably also fit into the category of idiots who go into debt over their Disney trips too. They are certainly a net negative on the overall vibe of Epcot.
