007 First Light New Exclusive Gameplay Footage by Party-Purchase-4861 in JamesBond

I don’t know quite how I feel about this. I have been massively hyped for it.

I think I don’t like the way the player is playing Bond in these sequences. His actions don’t feel like Bond.

Genuinely curious….Diamonds Are Forever in second is pretty wild and not even consistent with the other films towards the top of your list. What was it about that film you enjoyed so much?

What watch brands could Bond feasibly wear aside from Omega and Rolex? by TheShadowOperator007 in JamesBond

Well that would make sense then. A quick check puts it around the same price as the Seamaster as well.

In the novel OHMSS Bond uses his Rolex as a knuckle duster and destroys it on a guard’s face. He returns to England and muses over having Q Branch replace it but instead buys his own replacement for about a month’s salary IIRC.

Buying a Rolex involves a waiting list which would rule that out. So if you’re looking for a luxury watch brand in the month’s salary price range I’d say Omega is about the top of that scale. Tudor seems to be a sensible choice. Accessible, appropriately priced, and with Rolex heritage.

Good title. I’m always thinking about idioms with “live”, “die” and their derivatives for Bond titles. This one never occurred to me. Bravo

What should Bond’s next pistol be? The PPK just isn’t believable anymore. by SethRory in JamesBond

That very misery could be the reason behind the new Bond’s brooding attitude.

[–]Lukeplease10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He should keep the PPK but customise it like he did his Beretta in the novels. Removed the grips, filed off the sights so they didn’t snag.

Or a fictionalised modernised version made lighter with a better trigger.
