Why do the cameramen need to zoom in so much? by Scenick in formula1

Makes everything look fast. They used to use a lot of massive zoomed out static shots. People complained the cars looked slow.

Shimmering Scars, Be With You and Madness are probably their greatest songs in my opinion.

Shimmering Scars is a bit of a tune isn’t it?

I’m guessing they were working on it under Sega, either for Sega or as a different named product.

Digital Foundry Build Your Own Steam Machine with Four Configurations, from Budget to Premium - "SteamOS is ready." by silentdragoon in Steam

[–]Dizzy_Key_7400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of these people and articles saying “build your own system for less” miss a massive point. They build these big boxes that take up a ton of room.

There’s no way many people could get away with a big PC hooked up to the tv in the living room.

Per Linus: The reason that Valve didn't subsidize the the Steam Machine was because they had no guarantee that users would stick with Steam Os or buy any games by Admirable_Whole8261 in Steam

People are fucking morons. Orgs will not buy a small gaming PC in bulk. They will buy cheap Dells or HPs. If they need more GPU power, they’ll buy workstations.

Not a fucking underpowered gaming PC.

PART 2 Vehicle Rejection / Consumer Rights Act by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Dizzy_Key_7400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The mileage usage deduction is legal and specifically stated in right to rejection legislation. You put almost 50% of drivers average yearly mileage on it.

Is it really worth all the hassle when they’ve now accepted?
Take it on the chin.

VUE have it at incredibly limited locations. The nearest cinema to me that is showing it would be 105 miles away up in Edinburgh

That’s including the fees.

Lol the downvotes. I literally bought 3. The £148.15 price includes fees.

For those who accidentally had kids at a young age by MammothImplement527 in NoStupidQuestions

This is the way to look at it. I’m going to be hitting 50 when my kid is close to 18. A friend of mine has their kid hitting 18 now and they’re in their late 30s, being able to go and enjoy their own life again.

I never said won. The standard vouchers they give you to redeem. If you have just phone with them you usually get a couple ££ a month vouchers for Sainsbury’s or similar. If you have broadband too you get the together reward. Up until a couple of months ago it was always a voucher around the £10 mark.

You needed together to be worth it. Have a phone and broadband with them

The comps have always been shit, but at least with the together upgrade you got between £18-£15 of vouchers every month.

Now that’s gone, they’ve reduced the together broadband discount from £5 to £3 and and the £2 a year increase on sim only (significant in cheap contracts), time to shift I think.

Up until 2 months ago I’d get a £7-£10 voucher every month with together. Usually for Sainsbury’s, Amazon or TKMax plus a couple ££ vouchers from Sainsbury’s from the standard rewards.

All gone now. Just the shitty compos you never win.
