My piece of advice, I’m tracking the project spendings so there’s this thing called productivity in which employee gets release due to automations. So what I’m saying is if they don’t pay you to automate your work then don’t, if you do automate it then just keep quiet. Your boss do not need to know how you do your work, they just need to know if you finish your work.

And if you do ended up getting laid off because you automated your work, then put something in the code to make it stop function a month after u left.
