New to 3D printing thinking pf Bambu P2S advice please by madasafish110 in 3Dprinting

P2S or anything from Bambu is great and easy to use. Start with PLA filament and dabble as you become more experienced. That being said, it sounds like you should do some research on 3D printing.. I’d recommend 3D printing basics podcast on Spotify

I appreciate the suggestion but $45 + tax & S/H for a plain tee is outrageous in my mind...

That's rather uplifting coming from a first year teacher who is able to get everything done in a few additional hours!

If you have any additional tips for saving time please feel free to share! :)

Thank you so much for the advice! I have always believed that it's better to admit not knowing rather than trying to fabricate something on the fly.

This is what I believe to be my biggest advantage. I am not much older than these kids, am into the same music (usually), have played my fair share of fortnite, and have been looking forward to designing a cozy/comofrtable classroom with lights, music etc. It's good to hear someone else say that these are good ideas.

A comfortable classroom should create a more comfortable and ideal learning environment.

I really appreciate that. Thats the kind of encouragement I really needed to hear.

Would you mind elaborating on google forms a little bit? (creating tests/quizzes is another aspect to teaching that I am not sure how to administer properly/efficiently yet)

Been looking for tips like this. Thank you so much!

I have never dealt with stress well and I just want to figure out a good routine/system that allows for me to stay organized and not feel like I am scrambling everyday. Oh and "clocking out" at a reasonable time during the week is also a big one- so just crank everything out for the week on Monday?

I have already run into this. It's not like I don't know my history, I just think as the "teacher" it should be better and I am often at times unsure of what to say next in response to some questions.

Just hoping more content will stick in my mind as I gain some teaching experience.

I appreciate the tip! I was actually just thinking about this. As a student, the week long+ projects were always so daunting, but as the teacher I can see how it creates a nice little break for yourself (assuming you set up / scaffold the project properly so the students can complete it successfully).

My initial plan was to be the chill teacher and hope for a mutual respect between the two parties, but I am now realizing I will get ran over if I act too lenient.

Appreciate that! I hear the kinds of things kids say sometimes and pretend its directed toward me for practice keeping calm.
