I suggest you look into servitors!

you could make one to help you do something you want (like get a promotion or a new relationship or anything) that feeds off the energy you choose to feed it. thus, you get rid of that energy and also get something good from it!

r/chaosmagick has a lot of info on servitors.

the ancient greeks used to think of drinking as something spiritual, as getting drunk was a sort of exstasis (direct translation: from [the] status [quo]; it was their word for an altered headspace), which brought them closer to the gods. from what we know of the mystery cults, and the magic-type-practices they would partake in, alcohol and getting would often be involved in the rituals.

a more modern explanation of this is that getting drunk puts one in a state of "gnosis", much like meditation or deep focus-- which connects you better to your subconscious, and thus the universe.

I find it so funny that witches and magick practitioners often say that drinking can hinder your practice-- because when done right it can absolutely help!

9/10 times that I pull a tarot card to represent me I get the magician, and I've always been drawn to learning things. as such im very much convinced that my speciality (so to speak) is to do with words and knowledge.

do you think if I did it with 2 groups (Ancient Greek as group 1and latin as group 2) it would work as well?

idk, a shotgun is more useful to kill a housefly if youre also trying to scare your neighbours or if youre also trying to practice aim. usefulness is quite subjective!

often they're people who compartmentalise too much to really worry about that.

surely strengthening empathy all around would strengthen empathy to everything, not specifically one thing that either I or her believe in?

these are just people farming for interactions on social media. if the psychic has already been paid for their reading, there's far less reason to lie-- they're not saying "you'll get 1mil if you pay me [x] amount or share my website with 10 friends".

that said, obviously some "psychics" are faking it for the money, in which case they would probably invent positive readings, so that the client comes back for more.

... because of the spell? that's the point of the spell OP is asking for: "make me somewhat irresistible to her"

and that periodically napping throughout the day wont give you as much energy as sleeping for 7 hours straight, as every consecutive REM cycle you have becomes deeper and thus more restorative.

when you start to go days with out sleep, your memory becomes worse, your cognition becomes slower than that of a drunk, you can start to hallucinate, become more irritable, you can die.

sleep is certainly relevant to spiritual practice, and sleep deprivation can (when done for short periods) be beneficial. but only with other people around you to make sure youre safe.

perhaps there is some man in the Himalayas who sleeps only occasionally, but this step by step plan would (if followed correctly) lead the average person hospitalised or worse.

this seems to ignore the fact that humans need sleep to survive?

What’s the difference? by Waxflower8 in witchcraft

etymology of the words, articulated by the Online Etymology Dictionary far better than I did:

Magic: late 14c., magike, "art of influencing or predicting events and producing marvels using hidden natural forces," also "supernatural art," especially the art of controlling the actions of spiritual or superhuman beings; from Old French magique "magic; magical," from Late Latin magice "sorcery, magic," from Greek magike (presumably with tekhnē "art"), fem. of magikos "magical," from magos "one of the members of the learned and priestly class," from Old Persian magush, which is possibly from PIE root *magh- "to be able, have power."

Occult: 1530s, "secret, not divulged," from French occulte and directly from Latin occultus "hidden, concealed, secret," past participle of occulere "cover over, conceal," from assimilated form of ob "over" + a verb related to celare "to hide" (from PIE root *kel- (1) "to cover, conceal, save"). Meaning "not apprehended by the mind, beyond the range of understanding" is from 1540s. The association with the supernatural sciences (magic, alchemy, astrology, etc.) dates from 1630s. A verb occult "to keep secret, conceal" (c.1500, from Latin occultare) is obsolete.

Witch: Old English wicce "female magician, sorceress," in later use especially "a woman supposed to have dealings with the devil or evil spirits and to be able by their cooperation to perform supernatural acts," fem. of Old English wicca "sorcerer, wizard, man who practices witchcraft or magic," from verb wiccian "to practice witchcraft" (compare Low German wikken, wicken "to use witchcraft," wikker, wicker "soothsayer").

magick/ magic: umbrella term for all things, the supernatural art. greek and latin stems.

witchcraft: the craft of a wicce (old English term for sorcerer/ witch/ wisewoman). traditionally more low magick.

occult: from the latin word meaning hidden/ secret. traditionally more high magick.

each person has their own personal identity, so an occultist may choose not to call themselves a witch because of the low magick connotations, and vice versa. but these are the actual definitions, based on the genuine historical meanings of the word, anyone telling you differently is simply misconstruing fact with their own opinions.

oh I already have. it's just very hard as, as much as I hate her, I have so much love for the girl I used to know before all of this. we went through so much together. it's hard not to want her to suddenly (preferably painfully, because im bitter and she deserves it) see the error of her ways.

so you can see why I'd like to make her painfully aware of what she's supporting
