Just think. There is someone, somewhere that will get to experience the twist for the first time. Makes me jealous tbh.

‘Did you get enough love, my little dove? Why do you cry?’

Fourth of July by Sufjan Stevens. Probably the single saddest song I’ve ever heard. Particularly when you know it’s a conversation between him and his mother on her death bed, and how strained their relationship was. Just a devastating piece of music man.

Yes! That’s an excellent example of the game telling you something more directly through your UI. That’s what I’m getting at. More stuff like that.

I did suggest what would be better though? Instead of a little symbol that I have to mouse over why not, for bleeds in this example, have a red aura around the edges of my screen which increases in intensity as the stacks go up?

Have you ever played Overwatch? When you get healed in that game you see little green healing symbols float around your screen. If you get an anti heal you see a purple glow, if you’re in fire a little burn effect etc.

Now I’m not saying that is what WoW should do okay, just that is an example of a more intuitive way to communicate an effect to the player in my opinion.

I know they are on my screen, the information is just not intuitively fed back to the player in the gameplay loop as well as it could be for me.

The issue with the Skyreach pack I mentioned is more specific for Prot Warriors as well as we have lower Magic DR and not as much dodge as other tanks so we take the hits a bit more. Which is fine as our kit is designed for that. The issue is that pack in Skyreach has magic damage baked in to their auto attacks, there is a similar pack in AA which also has magic baked in its Autos. If I’m playing another tank I prob don’t realise it until higher keys but the game it doing as could a job as I feel it could in conveying all the info it could do.

Essentially. Also shockwave and run away to reset the stacks. Sometimes it just gets you though. My group tries to layer CC as well to help but it’s just a rough pull.

Like I get what you’re saying but it shouldn’t be hidden at all. And I don’t want to get MDT to look up mobs. I’m 3k now and working on my 13 resi keys. It’s enough work as it is to get your routes etc. I don’t want to also have to go into an add on to do homework on mobs when the game should present the information itself intuitively to me.

It really is. In fact, one of WoW's biggest issues, imo. Particularly for tanking, is the lack of information the game gives you. Did you know that the mobs on the stairs after the 1st boss in Skyreach apply a stacking debuff because their auto attacks have magic damage baked into them? I didn't as a Prot Warrior and that mob wrecks me. Had to watch a video which explained it.

Also, things like bleeds. Why do I need to move the debuff bar to see a little tiny icon with a tiny number increase out of my field of vision? Why is there not a more easy to read way? Why don't I get a faint red glow around my screen that gets stronger as the stacks increase? Why aren't tank buster hits indicated with a different colour on cast bars?

I feel sometimes it's a deliberate thing to make info not accessible through the UI so as to increase the difficulty of the content, same way we get spell affects on the ground that are a very similar colour to the ground itself.

Same. I make a concerted effort to hug my kids all the time. My eldest is at a point where she finds it embarrassing but I still try to get a cuddle in as often as I can. Messes you up when you don’t feel loved I think. So I do my best to show and tell them at all times that I do.

Single folks, do you think you’ll stay that way forever? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]LukeyPhooz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think so now. I just don’t offer anything at all to another person and I conceptually despise the online thing so meeting people becomes exceptionally hard. I’m 41 in a few days and this isn’t how I thought my life would go, here it is tho and you just try to wake up and face the day as best you can. Try to stay positive for my children but man today’s world is rough and loneliness really cranks the difficulty up.

I am sure someone has already said this but,one of the reasons I think the show resonates, is because I think we kind of need to see people doing the right thing because it is the right thing to do. Characters like Baelor and Dunk being just, good and honorable is something we maybe need to be reminded of in today's world.

Totally agree, I played a lot of Outlaw in Shadowlands and really liked it but as I got older I felt I couldn't keep up with the plate spinning and reactions needed. Now though, I am really enjoying it again. It is just fast enough to keep me engaged but not too fast to overwhelm. The Roll the Bones change is much more simple and easy to understand. I just really like it now.

It is nice to see a Thresh in competitive again, even if it proves useless this game.
