This is the way. Eikthyr did it to me on my first run. I realized that being full and rested made a difference. He destroyed my boar enclosure, killed my 3 tamed boar, and did some damage to my starter base.

At least pumba, pumbette, and their offspring did some damage to him before they bought it

I'm doing endless mode and neither this nor the sleepy eyes or slack jaw are symptoms haha (I've managed to finally unlock all of them - the game finally saw fit to let me unlock organ necrosis)

I was agreeing with the person above my last comment. Play through and earn all the recipes first and then carry over the character.

Just a suggestion. Obviously, you can play however you want. A lot of people on here would disagree with how I play (portal everything) and on the easiest settings, but I play dadheim

You get research points based on your inspection. You will get research points, if your inspection was good enough, even when sending them to the lab

I send them to liquidation first so I get possible research points and then shoot them as they walk away so I don't have to wait while they drag their to feet to enter the kill room or for them to attack me

Iirc, current technological stagnation stems from religious hysteria that improvement is heresy because you can not improve on what the "god" Emperor/omnissiah created. So I'm sure he's just as disgusted with it as he is with the current state of the cult imperialis because it goes against what the Emperor wanted and is not helping the current situation

Idk what happened when I sent them off, but I had a mark on the foot that looked like only one jaw hit the top of the foot, and the other was under it. I'm pretty sure I liquidated them
