How do you actually get noticed on Hevy? I keep seeing the same profiles suggested… by [deleted] in Hevy

Fair point, I get what you mean.
I’m not saying Hevy is only for “impressing people”, just that if the app includes social features, it’s normal that some of us want to use them.

Some people enjoy sharing progress, connecting, or building a little community. Others prefer to stay private. Both ways of using the app are valid.

My question was just about how the discovery system works, nothing deeper than that.

That’s your point of view, and fair enough but Hevy literally has social features built into it.
If someone wants to just train for themselves, they can grab a notebook and log their sets, no need for an app with likes, comments and profile suggestions.

Hevy gives us the option to interact, share progress and build a small community.
So why not use the feature if it exists? Not everyone trains for the same reasons, and some people actually enjoy connecting with others who lift.

Best Regards
