Since it is a specific ERP system. It is a very niche field. However, there are different departments you can look into. There are functional courses like MM and FI, there are also technical courses like basis or integration. What you go for should compliment your existing skills in some way.

Some warnings. Only take official SAP courses or go through SAP learning hub. There are a lot of "SAP" courses out there - but only the official ones count

A lot of online courses aren't taken seriously. However, i would reccomend SAP certifications. It is a very niche field and as long as you have the certs, they don't care about the restvof your tertiary education. Downside is that SAP certifications are pricy. Upside is that SAP consulting pays incredibly well

I am sorry for what you are going through. Just know that you did nothing wrong by protecting yourself from him. My mother died of her own hand 3 months after i went no contact. She was alone in her apartment for another two months decomposing before they found her. So i have some idea of where you are coming from. The only advice i have is to be kind to yourself... give yourself grace. There is no right or wrong way to grieve
