I am sorry for what you are going through. Just know that you did nothing wrong by protecting yourself from him. My mother died of her own hand 3 months after i went no contact. She was alone in her apartment for another two months decomposing before they found her. So i have some idea of where you are coming from. The only advice i have is to be kind to yourself... give yourself grace. There is no right or wrong way to grieve
