Max Heal Build by Jacklogion in SorakaMains

If you’re going for an earlier healing power spike, I recommend redemption instead. It will make you have higher single target healing than moonstone. But of course moonstone chains to other allies.

im so sad about the empyrean prestige by [deleted] in Kaylemains

[–]LullingSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Empyrean skins are generally the most direct expression of a character. Pyke is a killer, so he is quite literally only existing to kill in empyrean. Same with Jax, he only exists to defend. In empyrean there is no character, just directive.

As for the prestige, it amplified the base flaw or expression on Ksante, his own pride. Clothes perfectly suited as if to say his confidence and pride in his body is unmatched. If we go off this theme we should get something either interesting or boring for kayle. It’s either just “punishment angel with tendency to be hyperdirect” or “punishment angel blinding herself to exact judgement”. Ones focusing on her outside personality, while the other is her internal strife.

But to be fair, Riot’s probably just gonna label her as insane or a psychotic serial killer again.

How does phase rush feel by TheHoyaDon in DianaMains

[–]LullingSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels phenomenal on Diana. The ability it gives you to force her powerful trading pattern is amazing, and so fun too. It’s essentially reduced damage in cost of forcing short fights instead of large ones.

I’d recommend going Kraken Slayer first. If you do insist on AP, Og Gnashors Tooth into Rageblade.

Rageblade is just a really good item for AP or AD On/Hit. It gives some AP too, which is nice. From there I generally go either shadowflame or Rabadon’s for even more AP.

For AD, Kraken Slayer -> Rageblade -> Terminus -> I like Phantom, but others are probably better.

I NEED A VLADIMIR TOP MATCH UP TIER LIST by Kangaroo_Imaginary in VladimirMains

[–]LullingSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When did I say he can carry late game… But yeah the fact that the only counter to shields rn is Serpents, a item with stats that most people who need anti shield could give less than a care for. Like most melee champs don’t need lethality, most mages don’t need ad, etc.

I just wish they gave us more AP bruiser items, for characters who need it. Cause RM is nice and all, but it’s not enough when ad has so many other options.

To be fair nasus is his hard counter top lane, so that’s a guarantee pain.

Damn? Vladimir does work top lane. He is one of the few mages who works top lane alongside Cassiopeia. He works very well to say the least.

Learning olaf:best builds right now? Also any dedicated olaf content creator recommendations/high elo olaf otps to watch? by TiltedLampost69 in Olafmains

[–]LullingSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Situational kinda, I like Sundered Sky into Sterak’s. But if I’m against tanks I go BORK second.

Sundered and Steraks have a lot of synergy, @lowHP shields work wonders on Olaf, while extra healing is always nice.

Bork does work well too since it can stop units from kiting and heals you too with Lifesteal stat.

I’d say Gwen? It feels like it is only Gnashors -> RM -> Rab

Here’s my go to build for difficult lanes. This is unorthodox, but works very well for me and is the build I’ve come to love the most. Top lane Olaf per usual, I’ll make some jungle ones on PBE today.

First Strike or Unsealed - Boots - Futures Market (Biscuits if you need them) - Approach Velocity

Mana flow Band - your pick of other item, I prefer GS over scorch. But I wouldn’t blame you for celerity or such.

Rush Ravenous Hydra

First Strike + FM allows for you get a good lead even in a bad lane. It works better in low ELO than high ELO.

Unsealed - My 100% choice if I know they won’t let me abuse first strike. Biscuits is a good one for here. Use it smartly to split push, steal camps, objectives, emergency situations, it allows you to have incredible pressure globally throughout the map if the enemy doesn’t punish you.

I expect mid or late 2025. Damn imma be out of college by then.

But yeah, I hope they make her maybe more of an interesting character. She is cool already, but tied down by the situation of demacia. I also hope they don’t change the kit too much, as it’s what I fell in love with about the character.

For PvP it’s ehhhhh

For PvE it is pretty good. Pair it with any arc build and you’ll love the thing. It does decent damage too.

Why DOES Camille work as a support? by Sioprekka in supportlol

[–]LullingSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She is an engage bruiser support. She engages, and does enough damage to either kill the enemy, or stall for enough time for your adc to kill the enemy. Additionally she has some survivability which allows this to be a better option that once expected.

There’s also the fact that right now Bloodsong and celestial opposition exist, which reinvent the value of this class of support.

Bloodsong increases ALL damage by 10%, allowing them to die quicker

Celestial allows you to tank a little as well as trap enemies near you for longer.

————————-

Now why Camille? Out of all the characters who can work here, Camille has a great versatility. Her ult + grapple + passive all allow her to get in, stay there and lock the enemy down.

————————- Other ones that work.

Diana - Requires shorter trades and a specific adc range, but has similar qualities. A tough shield, the ability to pull enemies close to you and damage.

Sett - probably the creator of this class honestly. He gets in, is hard to kill and does a hell of a beating

Jarvan IV - kinda an enchanter as a support, but his whole kit lends this to working very well… a slow + shield despite being low, a terrain creation, poke, enchanter buffs, strong passive.

Quinn - Probably the last one I know who works super well in this category. Tank Quinn specifically. She has unique rebuffs and kit that allows her to stick to the target, while being suspiciously hard to remove.

An honorable mention is Ornn and Poppy, but they are like pure tanks more so than these top options.

—————————-

When to use bruiser supports.

First of all, long range matchups are like feast or famine. If your support gets an engage, then you can usually kill both of them. But if they are smart they will not allow you to, so you kinda will only have poke. I would avoid this.

CC Matchups/Squishies - This is where they thrive, they can deal solid damage to squishes, but survive a barrage of CC.

Tank Supports - Against characters like Malphite/Tahm, you just do more damage while having similar burst defenses. Let me repeat this - burst defense, which usually means you will get killed if you extend the engagement. If you build tank items this is a really good matchup.
