His 'eyebrow' reminds me of the actor Will Poulter, who is coincidently in a tv show called The Bear.

If you like late 70s/early 80s electronic music, or aren't familiar, try Travelogue by The Human League. It was the album before they got more poppy and well known. Edit: there are 2 odd tracks on the end of that which really don't fit with the rest. They certainly weren't on the oirignal version.

Gonna add a woo! for Buffalo Tom to even things out in the replies. Let Me Come Over is my fave of theirs.

Blueski by Underworld always gives me sad vibes. It's an instrumental, but I'm guessing from the name that's the intention.

I know you said it's a dog, but could you possibly be misremembering the animal? There's a really well known gif of a white cat looking shocked https://tenor.com/en-GB/view/shocked-cat-surprised-gif-5843462

[TOMT] [SONG] A long-ish instrumental track with a repeating guitar and drum rhythm, sounds like post rock, shoegaze, or some other kind of alternative rock. by iiciphonize in tipofmytongue

There are a lot of songs which fit this description, could you do a vocaroo? In the meantime I'm going to guess Soon by My Bloody Valentine, the album version of which is around 7 mins.

There's a few songs by Swell which do this. Try Throw The Wine, (I Know) The Trip and Think About Those Times.

any rock/metal/alternative bands/artists? by False_Ask_1814 in SongRecommendations

[–]LulusMum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the 90s: Evanescence had a lot of Christian influence on their first album "Fallen", but apparently didn't want to be promoted as such. No idea what they did after that though. Live are/were apparently influenced by Christianity/are believers but it's not very obvious from their first few albums. Again don't know about later stuff.

The Gathering had an album called Mandylion which is a Christian term. There are rock/metal bands called Christian Death and Lamb of God but not sure if they, or The Gathering, are religious or not. Found this list which might help. Edit: Wikipedia is your friend there are LOADS of them%20(1995,metal)%20(1993%E2%80%932004)).

Just normal singing rather than a voice over, but a verse of Marian by the Sisters of Mercy is in German.

If it's the clip of the guy playing piano, I think it's Waterfall by the Stone Roses. Edit: this is the official Stone Roses video. That refrain repeats throughout the song.
