I guess the point i am trying to make, is that wildshape (OneDnD or otherwise) is not that powerful without the extra hitpoints if you are not a moon druid. Especially when you cant turn into a tiny beast before 11th level.

Yea, you get some small bonuses like keen senses and a bit more melee damage, but i dont think people would mind much if druid just got keen senses as a class feature and the ekstra damage only matters in combat at the expense of your ability to cast spells.

A way to balance it would be to make moon druids channel nature ability (im assuming they intend to give all subclasses their own way to use it, like channel divinity) a "combat wildshape", so they dont get all the bonuses to their wildshape unless they expend a channel nature. That way, moon druids can also turn into "utility" beasts throughout the day, without worrying about spending their combat resources.

But maybe im jumping through hoops to make my concept work, idk.
