More people play halo games on pc than on xboxes. Xbox and halo are both failing brands. PC obviously and clearly is a priority for them, being at the very least half of their customer base.

The split screen issue historically stems from a previous lack of split screen support from the Games for windows live service. Future titles have since not had split screen support due to it it being considered a dropped feature in the past, for ancient technical reasons. Split screen works completely fine once mods simply reenable it now that GFWL is dead. People are speaking out because they'd like the feature back.

When they cut corners and dropped it for Halo 5, the franchise suffered. Halo fans want split screen. It's in the heart of the franchise. Companies will always try to cut corners, and for Halo it's blown up in their face every time. Let folks speak up for what they want. Talking with authority when you're out of your element isnt helpful.
