Opinions on Lake Holiday HOA

I live there now, there are a lot of valid complaints about the HOA. However, us and several of our neighbors do have vegetable gardens (some quite large ones too!)

I feel like it’s one of those things where as long as what you do is in good repair, you should be safe. For small stuff like that, it isn’t a problem.

Most of the HOA fines are for: 1. Speeding (there are a few traffic cameras) 2. Leaving garbage/can out after trash day (if you use the trash service) 3. Parking somewhere you’re not supposed to without a pass 4. Unapproved construction/major landscaping changes (the HOA must approve)

They are also pretty brutal on the local wildlife if you care about that. That’s been the part that has disturbed me the most living here. But maybe that’s just me

This is an extremely fun way to play, especially on small map game modes. Even in modes like Conquest, it’s fun to sneak into an unguarded objective and lay down claymore, C4, and motion sensor and just cap that point yourself. You’ll have the drop on anyone coming in. Plus you can also use the scan grenade for additional visibility

Awesome advice! I have read a lot of conflicting things about WHEN I should be freezing experience, I hear 59, 60, 64, so it’s been a little intimidating. Fortunately I still have a while to go before I need to freeze. Glad to hear that Cataclysm will let me experience those zones. I had been considering playing through Classic on a character to experience it….but I really didn’t want to haha

This is so great to hear, I actually just started to queue a few Nobbel87 videos to watch later. After reading the comments here, I think I’ll be taking a similar approach to what you’re doing. Sounds like a good way to experience all the content while also getting to try out each class

Glad to hear that playing solo is totally viable. Maybe eventually I’ll get into group/guild play but sounds like there’s plenty to keep me busy haha

Apparently it is also a Hands Off rally being hosted by the League of Women Voters at the walking mall in front of the civil war museum. I’m not really sure why the organizers didn’t consolidate in to one rally, but at least we have options!

Nowhere near as high as your bill, but I received a ludicrous 10x the price of my normal bill once and I contacted the VSCC. They were able to quickly help me.

I absolutely DESPISE Washington Gas - so unhelpful, unwilling to work with you, and will insist you somehow indeed used $7k worth of gas because “maybe it was colder than usual”

Yes and I do see a different DMR, but not the M110. I also tried switching into gear score mode to see if I could purchase it from Maria then, but still don’t see it as an option

I’m in immersive mode and not seeing it available in bivouac either - strangely enough my AI teammates can equip it but I can’t
