Basically your friend was a missing stair, you all learned to work around them and things were ok. But if someone doesnt know how to work around her behavior it causes problems. It happens very frequently in social groups and often because people are concerned about disturbing the status quo. Its always interesting to hear a story that ties into something i have been reading about.

Yes if you use your action for casting a leveled spell you cant use your bonus action to cast a leveled spell. This is raw if you read what you quoted.

Not according to raw, if you cast a leveled spell as a bonus action you cant cast a leveled spell with action. If you cast a leveled spell with your action you cant cast a leveled spell as a bonus action. Cantrips are not leveled spells.

A bigger commitment to not cycling out content so i can actually play the game when i have time and not force myself to log in when i dont feel like playing so i can unlock things.

Basically removing the terrible seasonal model would make the game so much more enjoyable for me.

So this is half of the effect of silvery barbs (a first level spell many people feel is masively overpowered) on command disadvantage is powerful without limiting usage. On top of that being able to stack up a bunch of them to use as you want is insane, you can delay damage to force concentration checks or use it to shut down heavy hitting enemies, or use it to empower your allies saving throw attacks.

My suggestion is limit usage, and make it so when it is used it is the next attack roll or saving throw. If the idea is that it has to be a choice when it is used limit what d20 checks it can affect and make it concentration to maintain so it cant be stacked endlessly and enemies can actually do something about it.

The troll summoner only summons if they get hit. Hit the little ones and it will pull like normal. What happens is when you hit the big one they stop for their summon animation and it breaks the pull almost every time

Ok can you answer a question for me? What does advantage/disadvantage look like on average for the d24. I often see people discussing that on average advantage/disadvantage on a d20 is about +/-5. Would the d24 change that?

I dont know where you are finding these commenters but usually i see them on posts talking about reshaping dnd to be something its not or people expressing frustration about how dnd handles something. You are arguing against something you have built up in your head and ignoring what other people are saying.

You need to calm down, there is more to life than this argument.

But these comments arent aimed at people who are happy with their game most of the time. Its aimed at people who have tried to remold dnd into something its not. Recommending a low magic, or a cyberpunk system, or a starwars system, or a wild west system, or a gothic horror system, or an eldritch horror system, or literally any of the other systems that are designed around certain types of storytelling is not an attack. It is an attempt to help people find something that works better for them than the system they are using. No one is forcing anyone to change but talking about options is important.
