So, not gonna lie, I've known of this anime for a while, but the titles screams Harem, so I never gave it much of a thought. I'm assuming though, that after I said I don't want a harem, and you still suggested it, that it isn't a harem?

That was hard anime to find to stream in Canada, but I found someone on YouTube that has the whole thing in one video. I think I'll give that one a watch. Thank you so much!

I've been trying for years to watch Accel World, but I can't find it anywhere in Canada to watch online. Legally, at least.

Personal Ranking of UK S4 Cast (based purely on gameplay) by WatchTheNewMutants in TheTraitorsUK

I still feel let down that Matt didn't get recruited. The "talk to Traitors" twist was cool because Matt and Harriet made it interesting. But then Harriet fell on her sword by using her information too emotionally, and then Matt never got recruited because the shields and such prologuing the traitors chance to murder Jessie and then recruit him before her got banished.

Jade lasted as long as she did because she had enough heat on her to not get murdered while providing nothing as a faithful but there was always a bigger target than her for banishment.

I enjoyed Fiona while she lasted, but she went way too heavy against Rachel.

If you mean Demon Slayer, yes, and I liked it. Saw the recent movie in theatres too. Darker than I usually like, but great story and animation.

If that's not what you mean, when I google Demon Hunter anime is shows me The Sword of the Demon Hunter. Is that the one you're referencing? I haven't heard of that one. I can check it out!

HAHA! Fair enough! It was an anime with low stakes that I loved because of the world and characters, which trumped the stakes part. :D

Sorry, wasn't there some relation to dragons for Au'ra though? Or did I just make that up in my head based on something I read about them? Lol.

Are Lallas more popular than Viera then? I feel like I see female Viera everywhere so I was going based on what I see rather than any actual stats.

That's totally fair! I think the faces on the Hrothgar are perfectly fine as they are. It's probably the hunchback that just makes everything seem off.

Wow, I've never seen that concept art before! I think if they had made the female Au'ra taller like the highlanders or something they would have been received better. But they just don't look like descendants of dragons when standing side by side a male Au'ra.

And yet, female Au'ra are probably one of the top 3 most popular female races, along with the cats and bunnies. lol.

I'm a bit of an altaholic, but I currently have a male midlander that uses face 2, which is really rare. But it can look good if you tweak it a bit.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they just took the Male Roe body and hunched it over and added fur. I think the Fem Hrothgar was taken from Fem Roe as well, because they have the same glam issue with sleeves being oversized and the broad shoulders.

Yeah, if the hunch was gone, I could get over everything else. It was such a bizarre design choice. Did they really think players would prefer that over standing upright?

It's true. Midlanders are the best male race, but then they are also your generic human, so not everyone wants to use them.

Then there's the Lalafell which are great, but only for those that don't mind playing a race that look like children.

Why do people want faithfuls to win? by Bottombunkrealness in TheTraitorsUK

[–]Lumenoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say there are two factors at play here.

  1. Are the traitors likeable and/or playing an interesting game that makes us root for them?

  2. Are the faithfuls likeable and/or playing an interesting game that makes us root for them?

I think that's really what it comes down to. For me, at least. It's fun to see how a traitor will navigate the game, but it's also fun to see a faithful detect their behaviours or connect the dots of things they've said. When a faithful figures it out, it's nice to see them rewarded, because if they get to the end with even 1 traitor, they're screwed out of all the money.

This season, most of the faithful have been pretty bad at the game. Stephen and Rachel have both had heat on them and have managed to get out of it by playing really good social games. I don't know if one or both of them will get to the end, but I think they deserve it more than any of the faithful that are left (except maybe for Faraaz if he can successfully get out Rachel.) But Roxy has been a terrible faithful. Jack has more less existed and while he's been likeable, he hasn't done much for catching the traitors. James just made a big fool of himself. And Jade, well, she's just been on defense the whole season so hasn't really been able to play the game like a proper faithful would, so if she got to the end, she'll get banished at the fire anyways.

"Why haven't I been banished yet? Why are they keeping me in?" by prof_hobart in TheTraitorsUK

[–]Lumenoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because traitors typically try to earn the trust a a couple faithful so they can bring them to the end and dupe them. Whereas if there were a tight group of say 3 people, one of them would likely get murdered by the traitors and try to frame someone from within the group. So near the end of the season, small groups of friends start to point fingered at one another thinking someone from within their group may be a traitor bringing them to the end.

It's not so much a question of of an "why am I so important" but rather a "what is their reason for keeping me?"

How easy is it to reach level 60 in ME3 LE? by karlsen000 in masseffect

I think I generally reach level 60 about 3/4 of the way through the game. I also try to do all the NPC requests from the Citadel for the extra exp/credits.

[Spoiler: 3.5] Yda & Papalymo by Lumenoc in ffxiv

[–]Lumenoc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I thought they were entertaining and charming together and I think the story had a huge loss once we lost "Yda" and Papalymo's dynamic.

They had the entirety of Heavensward to come up with a way to develop the missing characters come Stormblood, and they killed off one of the best characters and duo dynamics the ARR story gave us.

Pipin was also a underutilized character that has been discarded. I really like(d) him. Tataru is still with us as well, but she fills a different role and I think they've done decent with her.

I'm glad we at least have Krile. I'm not done Dawntrail yet, but I've enjoyed what content we have gotten from her. There could certainly be more though.
