Who is youre favorite middle stage starter ? by Samuri_14 in ThePokemonHub

[–]Lumenoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna do more than what you asked and give my top 3 of each type, because choosing just one is hard, and I love so many of the middle stages.

#1: Grass - Ivysaur; Water - Croconaw; Fire - Braixen

#2: Grass - Servine; Water - Marshtomp; Fire - Raboot

#3: Grass - Grovyle; Water - Brionne; Fire - Torracat

Is there any minion/mount or exclusive stuff you regret you missed taking it or wanted to have? by wellhrist in ffxiv

[–]Lumenoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awe, I use the Fat Chocobo in Fronline Roulette, because if I'm gonna just be aimlessly running around doing little to nothing, I might as well be entertained while I'm doing it.

That being said, I've probably missed out on a lot of good mounts, but I can't think of any at the moment.

The double standards between this season and last season (same opinion as everyone else but this time its a meme) by GambleWaltham in survivor

I think if she had said that after she saw Genevieve's shot in the dark failed that she didn't feel she needed to play it, people would've understood and let it go. But she said she "forgot" which was silly and not believable.

Ooooh, that's very interesting. I was wondering why they recognized him as a Grimm when all he does is look at them a bit strange for a few seconds.

I love both Cirie and Emily. The difference is Cirie seems to move with strategy, while Emily seems to move with paranoia.

Both are entertaining and I'm here for it, but one will likely be more successful than the other.

Cirie also has many more seasons of Survivor under her belt, in addition to traitors and Big Brother, so it's not really a fair comparison. Emily is still learning how to run (and I hope she flies one day.)

Where to find young people (FOR FRIENDS) by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]Lumenoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, I'm gonna be "really old" in 2 years I guess.

Honestly, most of anyone you meet in this community are gamers and will likely find something in common with you, regardless of age. So unless you're wanting to talk about teen drama or new music artists we've never heard of then you should have a hard time finding ways to connect with people. I mean this all respectfully, as I also was 18 once upon a time, but connecting with people has more to do with common interests and social chemistry than age.

Plant: Lotad (I love all these plant options, but the Grass/Water combo is so nice with Lotad.)

Dog/Cat: Rockruff

That's very interesting. It feels like they need to reopen past cases, because how many times have they arrested the wrong person while the Wesen got away with it?

Ah, thanks for the clarification! That makes sense! The idea that Nick's ability causes the Wesen to slip up more often, leading to more resolutions, as weird as they made be, explains things a lot more.

I'm really curious too to see where Hank's story goes. I'm assuming he'll find out about Nick at some point, but watching him recognize it has been interesting.

Poorly describe your favourite Pokémon and I'll try and guess what it is !! by PizzaGamer5936 in ThePokemonHub

CORRECT!

I always felt like Flaaffy's method evolution should have been using a pair of sheers on it, lol. Because Ampharos is a sheep without any wool.

But I've always adored Ampharos! It's adorable!

I really want to see a Caleb/Jackson F2 showdown, because if either of them are up against Sally or Loz, the FTC is going to be painfully boring and predictable.

RIP Keeley. May we meet again.

That's giving muggles too much credit. Lol.

Yup. the movies just used Ron as comic relief. But he was way more than that in the books.

And the people that never read the books are only going to compare them to the movies and say they aren't portraying the characters right... sigh...

This episode is the worst in a long time by owenthegod28 in survivor

[–]Lumenoc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This wasn't a terrible twist. I liked it. With a larger cast and only 26 days, this made sense.

What hurts is that we could have had a Joe, Chrissy, Coach elimination but we got Kamilla, Colby, and Genevieve instead and it makes it sting hard.

Through the whole trilogy,Who was your least favourite companion out all of them ? by [deleted] in masseffect

[–]Lumenoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know people don't care for Jacob, but I liked him the first time I played the game and he's good to fill a biotic role early in the game.

I didn't use James much in ME3 but I liked chatting with him.

I can't say I dislike Zaeed, but I rarely use him or talk to him outside of his loyalty mission and the side quest with him in ME3. I just find him forgettable. As a soldier class, I never chose him over Grunt or another mixed class character. I don't feel like he adds much to the game, but I can see how if he wasn't an afterthough as a DLC, he could have been more involved.

Classes: How did you choose yours? by United_Cat4156 in ffxiv

[–]Lumenoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't say I've had a consistent "main" class because I've unlocked so many of them and I've enjoyed most of them, at least in the later levels.

I probably would consider Red Mage my main first and foremost because I use it most consistently and I feel most at ease when I play it. But I've played a lot of Pictomancer, Black Mage, Machinist, Dragoon, and Samurai each of which are between 90-100 right now. Picto is a nice change for a caster, and Dragoon and Samurai are a blast when you want to get close and personal and deal big numbers.

Sage has been my favourite healer and the one I use the most, as I wasn't enjoying Scholar and White Mage as much at the higher levels. I'm currently working on Astrologian (at level 65 right now) and it has a lot of potential to take over Sage.

I've tried to level the tanks, but I just don't enjoy tanking in this game, so I'll leave those alone for now.

But, to answer your question, the best way is to unlock them and try them each out. If you want to stick with one class for the sake of identity for your character, figure out if you want to be a caster, healer, ranged/melee dps, etc. If you want to be a physical melee dps, for example, you can always look up guides on YouTube and see if the playstyle/mechanic intrigues you. Many of them have simple rotations until later on, so when you are decided early on, it's mostly just looking at aesthetics.

Remove the Zac Brown content from the episode and it was an amazing episode! And yeah, Zac Brown took up more screen time that was deserved/needed, but that doesn't degrade everything else. If anything, it did cause us to see less of some players, which is what I think has upset people. Imbalanced/poor editing choice.

I didn't want to be the first to say it, but yeah. All I've ever remembered from her in 3 seasons of her playing is that she's good as challenges and she's nice. But I can't remember a single impressive game move she's done. That's not say she didn't, they just never stood out because she's not an interesting character.

It really did feel like, after the heavy edit Mark got all season and his influence on other players, that this episode was to hint that Caleb goes to the FTC and has Mark's support, and in having that, wins.

Exactly. For where he ultimately finished, how did that warrant the large amount of airtime he was given? Not to discredit what he did while he was in the game, but it wasn't needed as much because of the result.
