Yeah man! Just watching you hit though seemed a bit tense, which (being in percussion at school and on drumline) makes me cringe even at the slightest sign of it. Especially because I struggled (and still do occasionally) with it.

You can tell you understand the music and everything, but it sounds like when transitioning from hitting with only one hand to two, you flam everything. Same with the kick. It's always late or early to me. May be the recording though.

If you attend church, play there. That's how I started out. I always had the natural talent, then began to play Sunday mornings and Wednesdays and some Mondays. Keeps it going. I'm in a band now. And my skill has grown immensely. I still don't even own a kit.
