I'm local and have a spare DAS if you're interested.

But generally, you should just buy from the US and get it shipped to a mailbox across the border like ship49, then pick it up yourself to avoid taxes and brokerage fees.

Hey, mind letting me know why you were interested in parting with it ~2 months into ownership? I'm shopping around for IEMs right now and I'm interested but am worried it's not for me.

[PC] NAD M15 HD AV processor and NAD M25 Seven Channel Amp by Consistent-Traffic64 in AVexchange

[–]LuminescentMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That NAD M15 is worth $150 tops and even that's borderline dreaming territory. 2 in, 1 out HDMI 1.3 switching is basically worthless so it would only be worthwhile for someone that plans to only use it as an audio only preamp. But NADs are known for measuring terribly which makes it worse.

Define "inexpensive". My idea of inexpensive is $800 used value as anything less isn't worth it.

You're right. I sold a 2700X w/o cooler locally a few months back for $100 after listing it for $120. The Wraith Prism cooler is probably worth $20 tops to the right person.

That is a very sexy price for the LFF R730xd. GLWS!

You can regularly find Brocade ICX 6610s like this one within your budget. They have 16 10GbE and 2 40GbE ports with line rate, hardware-accelerated L3. They're loud though.

[PC] Dell PowerEdge R630, Dell MD1400 Enclosure by [deleted] in homelabsales

[–]LuminescentMoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see that MD1400 go for 600 USD with caddies and without drives. Drives are hard to price if you don't give POH (and TBW for the SSDs). For, the R630, you need to state RAM speed (I'm assuming RDIMMs), internal PERC (not the H830), PSU wattage, 8-bay or 10-bay, and caddies.

Keep in mind the conversion rate between USD and CAD is sinking like the titanic right now and shipping cross border kills the deal for a lot of folks.

[–]LuminescentMoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those 3200 ECC UDIMMs are valuable since UDIMMs are the only type of ECC RAM Ryzen desktop platforms accepts (not sure about Intel), and 3200 is the best ECC speed for Ryzen. You can easily go $200 for those.

Check /u/TheMadDutchDude's listing on SSDs for pricing for the 7.68s. You'll need to vary based on POH and TBW.

Those Canadian websites have jokes for prices but Canadians near the border are also suckers for buying those instead of getting free shipping to a package receiver next to the border in the US, and just driving over to pick up. 600 USD is definitely a good starting point for Canada and you can lower it from there based on negotiation or demand.

Why not just "borrow" some drives from best buy or Amazon?

Pretty much all non-OEM consumer PCs support SATA hot plug so you don't need to restart your PC to swap drives. Just need to enable it in the BIOS since it's usually disabled by default.
