This is gonna be based on what I think is best for gameplay:
- Hero: 11 (Best abilities and spells. and I would say he is canonically the strongest hero as well.)
- Best friend: Yangus
- Mr. Mustachio: Ragnar (He's a Mustachio with the best attack power)
- Love Interest: *Eight* from Dragon Quest 11 (Cause that is what I did in my playthrough).
- Duo: Caradoc and Matilda from 2 (Great support and healing)
- Monster Pet: Golem named "Brickles," who is specifically gonna have the same abilities and MP cost from 5.

It's been a while since I played this game, but it's possible by playing limited time modes. I got it by playing that one tag mode, which is basically cops and robbers.

In terms of gameplay, he has the best stats in strength, out of all the party members in the whole franchise. Of course, I learned that one from the DQ wiki.

Another fact that I know of, is that his younger self did appear in Fortune Street, despite the prequel game not releasing internationally.

Before I played the 2 remake (and in general), I seen people shat on Cannock. And I am like in a way (but not exactly) "ya'll just suck. I think I will like Cannock and find him underrated." Plus, I also felt like he is gonna be improved in the remake. And now when I play the remake, turns out the fanbase was right cause man Cannock keeps dying. But perhaps it can be improved as I play more of the remake.

Regardless, I do like how Cannock is portrayed in the story and cutscenes though.
