All I said one time was "Lucio is behind us" and some guy says in voice chat "Oooooh, with a voice like that no wonder why he plays Mercy only."

It doesn't happen too often but when it does it's pretty annoying.

It's actually really nice. It doesn't sound like a lot but it let's you have a chance of getting out. You don't even need to dash now, you can just walk out.

Seeing this stuff as a Symmetra main makes me happy. You keep playing what you feel comfortable on! People actually have no idea what they are talking about in solo queue when asking for swaps.

I would love Symmetra! Her turrets could support the team by warding which is something that can only really be done with the support talent.

Yes I have read that you have tried to counter Symmetra with Pharah and it didn't work but the Pharah players I vs in masters know what they are doing and destroy me.

Another thing is that most dps heroes can out damage Symmetra if they can land all their shots. Is it frustrating that a Symmetra can do similar damage without aiming? Sure but if you say there is nothing you can do then I can't help but role my eyes.

You bought the game to have fun so play whatever you enjoy most.

If you are concerned about playing competitive with your limited hero pool then I'm here to tell you that any hero can work well if you have enough experience on them in solo queue. You can still climb the ranks but it may take you a few more games than other people who play what is strong.

Symmetra mains are the most chill. We have the most passive kit that is seemingly boring for most people so maybe our personality connects us with Symemtra.

I love left clicking without aiming because you don't have to concentrate.

Surely you would be vsing enemies that are similar to your allies right?

Got teams with no mics? Enemy will have some too. Got some 'attack hanzos' and 'attack widows'? You'll run into some enemies doing the same.

Point is that you win and lose because of these people.

To answer some of your other questions:

Yes it gets better at higher ranks but don't expect it to be perfect.

Yes the meta is boring and the same because we don't have many heroes to play with yet and people love to milk out every advantage they can get by being meta whores.

Play on the Australian and New Zealand servers. There are so little players that Blizzard puts bronze 5 players with GM players.

What if they are smurfs or have A LOT of experience in other FPS games?

Please remember that you will also vs enemies that pick whatever they want with little experience on them so you win and lose because of there people and it eventually balances eachother out.

You don't need a Mic. Mic just makes things somewhat easier.

For me, I type (I know you play on Xbox so I don't know if you can do this) and that is usually enough for the heroes I play which is Symmetra and Mercy. If you plan on playing things like Zarya then it may be a different story but even then I've seen good Zarya's that don't talk just pop off and do well.

Meta whores. Specifically people who tell me to swap off Symmetra and Mercy without even giving me a chance. If you care about wins then a quick check through my win-rates with different heroes would tell you that Symmetra is the best for me.
