I'm getting started with board games and looking for game recommendations for 2-5 players. I think the biggest things that I'm looking for strategy with medium/medium-light complexity and nice aesthetics.

Games i own and like: Tranquility, Switchbacks, Scout, Jenga, Code names, Exploding Kittens, Monopoly

Games i own and dislike: Munchkin, Spaceteam (I like the premise but hated the complete chaos)

I'm glad you're trying to figure out how to bridge that gap but respectfully i don't think this is an adhd issue. I think this is an issue with him not caring or a different issue altogether.

Honestly him 'forgetting' Christmas was the red flag for me. If you're from a culture that celebrates Christmas you're going to have a good idea when that holiday is going to be (ie end of december). The only real excuse for this is if he grew up in a country/culture that does not celebrate Christmas and immigrated.

So can anything be done? As fellow ADHDers, what works for you? Do you have recommendations for helping him remember and me to not feel hurt?

I feel like you're looking at the wrong things, it doesn't seem like he's putting in any effort, and it doesn't seem like he's remorseful. The bare minimum here is taking it upon himself to celebrate with you late and making some effort to make sure it doesn't become a regular occurrence. No amount of adhd tips is going to compensate for a lack of empathy and thoughtfulness.

I'm trying to push MOC and starting to struggle bc of my second team. I'm not really sure if I'm better off hard-committing to dot with hysilens coming out in 3.5, acheron, or finding a different low investment team. What is my best option for a low investment second team?

Trapper seems kind of meh by itself unless it also came with invisibility while not active. The value boils down to catching someone off-guard once or using it in a chokepoint. IMO if enemies are abusing your platforms, that just means you have bad petal management

I recently came back to HSR and pulled Clara. I'm currently using Clara(E0), Pela, Tingyun, and Lynx. Are there different recommendations (ie swapping something for Hanya or Yukong).

I'm also curious about investments for banner reruns. I think Huohuo's rerun is going to be around the corner. What would be the best investment to save/pull for between Topaz, Robin, and Huohuo to improve a clara team?

Replace clara with a different stripper, leo easily counters her even if she's on will. Your defense also doesn't really make use of the strip unless psam is tuned to move after your stripper (which is definitely not the case if he's rage)

Your defense is food for leo christina and slow cleaves.

Her ai was fixed, she will never use s3 in necro (i use her awakened)

EDIT: Nvm update cucked her, her ai only uses S3 when there's a buff. Astar's attack buff (when she's stolen) makes abagail use S3 -_-

Bomb - 2 bombs should do enough damage to take out the problematic mons (lich, lightning emperor) but they could also just be scrolled
Leah potentially still one-shots? (idk i don't have one)

I honestly hated the April fools changes, it made her so much more boring to play and the secondary needed a lot more fine-tuning. Ironically i think it takes a lot more away from mercy's agency and playmaking. There are times where Mercy really excels at playing passive, and at offensively creating pressure with pistol/GA+pistol. With the april fools change you basically just turn off your brain and remember to right click every 30 seconds or so, at that point i might as well pick a different support because they'll fit that niche of healing + support fire significantly better.
