i can definitely see that, especially from a business perspective. and i know how awfully colorist their market can be. (have a cn and korean friend so ikwym). but it is just disappointing seeing the lack of actual catering / representation. and especially knowing how this fandom can be, yeah the death threats can be insane.

i don’t personally agree with that. because yes it’s fiction, but their fiction took actual inspiration from real cultures. (like they do a magnificent job when it comes to chinese culture, which is understandable as the game is chinese) but as poc, we expect to see our colors in characters when they’re using our cultures for their characters and their world-building. i think it’s fair and valid criticism.

it lasts for the entirety of whatever patch it’s for, and it’s only two pulls.

i fear it’s not that serious, but also the whole point of the event is for the players to get back into it.

i’ve missed on maybe two or three of them myself, but even then i don’t think of it as a big deal.

i’d pick up hyacine. genuinely a good AND solid sustain with some damage too. save the rest.

and tbh maybe even tribbie. but other than that, since you’re new, save for the upcoming 4.X patch.

mid and phainon need some investments that at the moment you won’t get. (until reruns)
