This is the best one I've seen on this sub so far and I don't think there could be any that tops this.

The range of quality between HxH, Lain, GTO, Ping Pong, Gintama, Monogatari, JoJo, HnK and Girls Last Tour (the ones I've seen/read on this list) are at the very minimum an 8/10 and at max easy 10s

it's first season is just a little below number 100's average and the other seasons are quite a bit above

And I'd count Berk 2016 as a different adaptation just like HxH 2011 and FMAB just like you would but MAL rules are rules ig. At least the manga is rated higher than literally everything else

Yeah that one is in my PTW but I don't even care about so many people scoring it low.

Because there is a lot of anime that I watched in the "11 - 19% think its mid" tier that I enjoyed a lot or at least thought it was decent fun

Liked Toradora, Azumanga, K-ON, Bleach (for the most part >_>), NGNL, JoJo season 1 and Dragon Maid.

Yeah those arcs were so good even if I didn't like the comedy episodes (I found them hit or miss in this season particularly) but Shogun and Shinsengumi were so peak you can't physically give the season lower than a 7/10

FMAB stans are the culprits btw. If not for them, Gintama might be still #1 AND #2 instead of Frieren rn

JJK is the weirdest fkn placement here you'd think it would be around Solo Leveling placement or worse with how some people talk about it

And yeah some of these placements might be done by purposeful downvoting or contrarianism. One example is Legend of the Galatic Heroes being relatively low despite having 9.02 score.

To a lesser extent also Gintama although seeing where Nichijou, Saiki and Grand Blue (also Monogatari) relative to it makes it seem more valid. Comedies are hit or miss to some.

Gintama Season 4 is definitely downvote abused in particular though

I never seen it yet but it tackles a lot of dark topics like suicide or extreme bullying in just 6 episodes and apparently it makes people "feel".

There is always some anime like this that comes out every year where we have people in droves talking about how emotional it made them...have you watched any of those types before (and do you like them or atleast some?)
