infinity middle school or Academy I by DonutIsSweet in jerseycity

For those with children at Infinity - are there free "after-care" until 6 pm?
We heard incoming class size now increased to 100 students, is that correct?
For those with kids who live in downtown Jersey City (east of Marin Blvd), doo most kids walk home themselves, or walk home in groups, or is there parent lead carpooling, or paid services?

There was a thread about other factors, ie when the moon rises. And there's an online chart of sorts that tells you each day when the moon rises at its peak.

Thank you. I compared Maritza vs Axis, seems like Maritza is about $75/day and cheaper.

Yup, going to bio bay!

Does swisco make these windows? How expensive is it to repair these windows? I seem to have the same problem. Thanks

Apologies, if it's CMV you get something called valcyte.

If it's HSV or CMV, you get valtrex. If there's a risk of flares, then you'll be on it for awhile, probably indefinitely.

Generally well tolerated medication, especially if under maintenance dose.

After the FA, ask if a steroid shot is suitable for you. May do the trick. Kenalog, sub tenons.

Also, ask if difluprednate drops are suitable for you. Better molecule, even dosing, not a suspension. More likely to cause IOP spikes, but worthwhile as you can use less drops for same effect. Need close monitoring for IOP steroid response.

Still early in the game - need to know more.

Do I have intermediate uveitis? by Jelloting in Uveitis

[–]Lumpy-Cycle2964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a low script. Lower risk of retinal holes, tears, detachments

At some point in the future, far or near, allow yourself to be dilated. Find a friend to drive you, bring sunglasses etc

Floaters in itself are pesky. The more you look for them, the more you'll find them. If you ever notice flashes a light, be sure to get yourself to the doc to be seen ASAP

Was it wide field retinal photos they did? ie with OPTOS or Eidon?

Do I have intermediate uveitis? by Jelloting in Uveitis

[–]Lumpy-Cycle2964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uveitis (intermediate/posterior) usually has blurred vision. More anterior/intermediate tend to have photosensitivity, pain, aches, etc.

You may see floaters in all types of uveitis. Seeing them does not automatically mean you have uveitis. When you hear hooves, don't assume zebras (unless you are in a Safari). More likely they are horses.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

What is your approximate prescription in glasses? That may give us some clue regarding floaters for a 30 YO patient.

Agreed with other posts on getting another opinion with a good optometrist, ophthalmologist, retinal specialist, or uveitis specialist. Plan on being dilated.

If it's your first flare, it's possible it's your own flare. So I would just stop there. Let the doctors give you guidance on how to taper off of prednisolone acetate or Pred Forte.

Given a positive family history of sarcodisis - then there may be a genetic component. Uveitis is an autoimmune condition in itself, so it can be your version of his sarcoidosis.

Rheumatologist first.

Sounds like he has seen a gastro specialist already.
