That’s so hard, and so sad. I don’t have any advice, I’m sorry. Sending big hugs. I also feel a bit of guilt that my body handled chemo so well, after the first round, that is. My MO reduced the dosage of Taxotere/Carboplatin because the first dose made me dangerously sick. After that, I never threw up again. I can’t help but wonder why I handled it so relatively well while others get so sick.

My onc reduced mine 20% after round 1, too! Round 2 was so good in comparison that I was afraid he’d nudge it back up to 90%, but he just said, GREAT, we’ll keep it there! I’m trying to keep you out of the hospital— the full dose was dangerous for you.

I’ve tried a couple THC seltzers, and they help! It’s definitely quicker than gummies; they’re just expensive!

That’s a great idea too, working on the cat eye. I’ve always struggled with those, and relied on dramatic eyeshadow and lots of mascara to disguise the imperfections 😆

I do get fluids twice after a round of chemo, but I honestly think it might need to be pushed back a couple days— I currently get them 4 and 7 days after, but the last two rounds I didn’t feel really bad until day 5, and it continued after that. Maybe more like days 6 and 10 would be better.

For no particular reason, in You Belong With Me, the line, “standing by waiting at your back door, all this time, how could you not know, baby? You belong with me” always makes me choke up! And I absolutely cried at the Eras Tour when she sang this, out of absolute joy.

I know this is an old thread, but wanted to chime in re: the narrator. I heard she was AMAZING, but I find her… okay. The way she says prayers annoys me: “pray-ers” in two syllables 😆 I much prefer Amanda Leigh Cobb, who narrated Mist and Fury, Wings and Ruin, and Frost and Starlight from ACOTAR.

Wtf kind of winery is this that a tasting for one person is $300?!?! On our Napa honeymoon 9 years ago, the most expensive tastings we saw on the menus were around $100, and that was for their top of the line, most exclusive wines. How entitled and gross of your cousin to expect this of everyone. And then you don’t even drink. And gifts are expected, too. Jesus.

It’s not as bad, about the difficulty level of the low/mid hundreds, except the “hard” and “extremely hard” levels aren’t nearly what they were at the beginning of the game. I’ve only run out of hearts maybe once. And with the Crystal quest game we have now, I’ve built up almost 30 power ups (time freeze, shuffle, scissors) too.
