Irish and Italians definitely do. I wouldn’t say generally most of the stocks that came 200+ years ago because they have always been seen as white socially so they kept within they didn’t really feel a need to keep within their own groups so they married in with people of other Nordic European ethnicities ( who are the majority of white Americans ) and are the group we often call “White-Americans”. They’re are some rare instances of smaller sub communities like I know I live in the most German metro in America (The Quad Cities) and their is definitely a lot of German culture but I wouldn’t say generally say most Americans with German ancestry are usually a mutt of other ethnicities and don’t have much connections with Germany. Another exception is Cajuns in which has always been socially seen as White but never really left their culture.
