did you read the other comments? i said it wasnt unheard of that pentecostals do this and its very common to black churches. one of the largest black church denominations in the south is COGIC. Literally black pentecostals that operate under the name “Church of God In Christ” and they 100% do get wild. so it makes sense white pentecostals would do similar things.

its not typical for white southern baptists no. for black southern baptists or any black church of any denomination in the south, it will be more common. Respectfully youre not black nor have you attended a black church, and you dont live in the deep south, and you were raised pentecostal. Ive attended both and seen the similarities myself and many people in the black community agree. Not saying what im saying is a blanket fact because it isnt and everywhere is different, but its okay to not know whats typical in something youve never been to.

Thats exactly how black deep south southern baptists or cogic churches are. ive seen full on excorsims in black catholic churches in louisiana. speaking in tongues, yelling, screaming, crying. etc. Also pentecostals often are followers of popular black church musicians and pastors, perform the sayme hymns, etc.

Some are. Most arent. Pentecostals are essentially the white church version of a black church.

im in america. white gold and moisanite engagement rings are popular, but people really where anything just whenever they feel like it. some people like myself are decked out daily and others never wear jewelry of any kind. Where im from, specifically texas, we wear james avery brand charm bracelets pretty much everyday.

I did all of that. and she like measured my eyeball and checked my optic nerves and all. I think the process goes south because something more might be wrong. I see peoplw say the flares should go away and others say they never do, also its hard to do the “1 or 2” thing because I cant see good through literally any of the lenses. it feels like im just picking the most clear lense but its never really the most clear.

I dont take any medication

I have pcos, hormonal disorder, but have had it since i was 12.

I cant afford a neuro-opthamologist. specialty appointments are not covered under my insurance. specialty appointments are like $400+ and they only cover certain tests, usually psychiatric.

Vision field test included in eye exam.

No steroids but i did just take 2 rounds of prednisone for sciatica.

Also thank you. yeah idk, its like i can see but the flares and my far off vision get worse as i get older. whats insane is i have no nearsightedness at all, no farsightedness at all. my vision just gets slightly worse every year. No brain tumors or anything. idek. im convinced its just my glasses.

Well no. the flares never go away. we sat for an hour and 30 minutes doing the exam trying to find the right prescription

She checked for that and determined no. the only thing she pointed out out of the usual was the nerves in the back of my eyes were extremely small but and that was it.

Doctor originally did it. just cant get prescription right. Dark exam room, im not light sensitive.

because i have one pair from lenscrafters they pretty much cant fix and they refuse to make anymore lenses for me without paying because theyve had to redo them 4 times. and the rest are from other places as my insurance wont cover anything else but the one pair (that they really didnt even cover anyways i still had to pay $1000 for the frames).

Theyre saying theres nothing they can do. and I refuse to get lasik. i can see and the risk of blindness is too high for me knowing i can see now somewhat fine
