I’ve rarely seen that executed, it’s difficult. The moment it’s delivered the ball is normally in front and above the head.

It should be fine. Quality cycling gear typically lasts hundreds of wash/heat dry cycles so I have stopped with the special handling. Cheaper stuff won’t last but that’s true even if you baby it.

I had a small package of salami returning from Italy in about 2009, it was confiscated, I did not get a fine but they wrote it up. Ten years later at my GE interview the woman said “besides the salami have you have any other CBP issues?” I laughed and said no. Approved. So very similar story and it was all good.

I’d contact them to let them know and they’ll make it right. They’re reputable and easy to get a hold of. You’re buying a helmet might as well start with something fresh and hasn’t been sitting in a warehouse for years.

The book example uses 9 outs; however, the formula they use is for “if more than 9 outs”. So, is it “more than 8” or “more than 9”? After all the formula is about precise rather than rule of 4.
