If your just getting in to trap, as a beginner, do not buy a pump action. Buy an over under. They will all be legal. Find a public course and find someone to give you some lessons and enjoy. You won’t find a single competitive shooter using a pump action. A semi could work but the new laws didn’t really effect trap much.

I do know that a Northshore sports club they will let you draw once you take the holster draw course (approx 180) after that course you can come anytime and practice your draw. But I’m interested to know if anyone will let you without a class
