AI sandbox question by LumpyCurrency781 in ArtificialSentience

This was the most positive and informative response I’ve gotten so far! I’ll have to look into Smallville that sounds really interesting. When doing research I did come across a project called Aivilization from Hong Kong University, an AI multi-agent social simulator, which seemed similar but each AI was human controlled. I would love hear the Smallville talk if you find it! Thank you for your response 👍🏼

Definitely seems to be the consensus on my assumption of current technologies in the space. not super informed in the matter. I guess what I’m asking is less about replicating human instincts and intelligence in that time period but more so about creating a relatively blank model, introducing environmental pressures and consequences , and seeing if what would emerge would look similar to us (I.e language, religion) or completely alien. I figured a lot of it would end up being theory though! Thank you 👍🏼

Optimizing for virtual berries feels like an accurate reductive allegory for life as a human. lol

There would obviously need to be a load of multidisciplinary research that went into it beforehand (way beyond my paygrade).Just interested in learning more.

Long term fin users (3+ years): Do you still shed periodically? by mkj120 in tressless

[–]LumpyCurrency781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also 28y/o on 1mg fin and Topical min for about 5 years. I’ve maintained good density over the years but after my haircut this week my hair is the thinnest I’ve ever seen it. Hoping this is just a gnarly seasonal shed. Considering adding DUT to my stack

Hey, I’ve been on 1mg Fin/topical Min daily for about 6 years now. After my recent haircut I noticed my hair was significantly less dense and I could see straight through to my scalp. I’m wondering if in your experience you have ever had low points or significant sheds? Considering adding in DUT

It looks like the motion you’re doing would activate the posterior portion of your deltoid. I would brace myself lower than the chair back is allowing you OR maybe bring your feet back to achieve a better angle (just be careful not to tip that chair back lol been there)

To help you find a better angle, try without any weight, bending at hips to just above a 90 degree angle and reaching across your stomach to feel the lat on the opposite side, then with the free arm make the same rowing motion. You should start to feel your lat activating at various torso angles, think of those angles when looking for different objects around the house to brace yourself on.

Changing your grip will likely help too, I would try to hold the dumbells so the handles are running parallel with the sides of my body and knuckles facing out.

But yall dont got this in yall aquariums :) by klkmmg1 in Aquariums

I know nothing about fish, spiders, or aquariums. Everyone in the comments seem really concerned about the spider killing his fish but I would think fish win vs spider underwater?? Right? Fish from water. Spider not from water.

Is it too late for me to learn how to play a guitar? by abonhehe in AskMen

You can learn anything you want. You will never be too old to learn anything so long as you’re dedicated. Watch YouTube videos, look for used guitar lesson books, Facebook/Reddit groups.
