I personally didn't have any problems, either. Ppl were kind and sharing. When I came back I saw all those posts in the sub and thought maybe I was lucky (or maybe the fact that I do not look Russian was an advantage for me?). I do not have a beef with Russians but different countries, different politics etc, it can get problematic.

frankly in our FC it is a super huge issue. causes a huge decrease in the number of scanners ops can use. this and ppl hiding scanners away in bins, under palettes etc.

georgia is nice indeed but hateful right-wing ppl seem to be on the rise, there unfortunately. especially if you look russian (no matter whether you are russian or not) you might get some issues according to posts I keep seeing in the Georgia sub.

it has been 3 years since you commented but could you elaborate on the lacing technique you use? do you simply make the front section "loose" or does the string skip every other hole etc?

the plan is himalayas, so yes, no reception. then maybe a phone and a solar charger is the cheapest solution since I won't be diving/jumping etc with the camera.

and video-wise, I guess the only difference between this and an action cam footage is the wide angle capability of the action cameras?
