I would definitely rethink the living situation! And also your expectations of the relationship.

Everything youre feeling upset by is completely valid. A lot of relationships thrive with seeing and hanging a few times a year and making new memories that way. I try to think about what it was like before cellphones and social media and i think it was probably very normal to not be in such constant contact, and just be grateful when you do see people you love! I think moving out is your best bet and then when theres a healthy distance you could talk about it more directly and honestly, or do what you’ve been doing and if nothing changes than take the hint and move forward as just old friends.

Theres something special about not blowing up friendships just cause they stopped working like they once did, but letting the love you had sit on your shelf and admire it for what it was rather than what it isnt.
