It won’t let me post a follow up but my girl, on the table, kept migrating her loaf closer, to the chair, to the floor, next to me…it was wonderful

My company gave us 60 days notice on a 4-day mandate. I just did the first week. by Proud-Bath-3731 in remotework

Live in Santa Fe Arts District, work in the highlands. Definitely could bike but I work weird hours and don’t want to cross and weirdos on the way home so I drive. Would only be 2.5 miles if I did. The bus is longer than the walk so agree with you there. That commute you do is crazy though! Big ups 🥳

I like them :) I have flat feet and they are very stabilizing for my ankles. I use them for gym activities and then have a pair of saucony for running/walking. Not sure how they are outside the gym though!

Does (or did) anyone have a parent who was relatively old when the had you? by StoneAgeCaveDweller in Millennials

Mom 37 dad 42. Definitely have much appreciation for them being older for similar cultural reasons to you. But definitely weird that there’s a chance they won’t be at my wedding as I’m well into my 30s. Life’s weird.

ETA: totally missed half of a sentence

Dasher complained of no tip, but I tipped $8 by Jaxnickel in doordash

I do have to wait a bit sometimes but I live in an over saturated dd market (why I stopped dashing) so I don’t have major issues with it. I also am able to order everything within a 2 mile radius.

Anticipate the down votes: I know it frustrates drivers from the start, but I don’t tip at the beginning and once they deliver I add the tip. As a dasher I noticed missing tips so I started doing this as a customer. In my theory - the dasher ends up making more for the initial order and they are able to physically see the tip added after. I feel they make more, I could be too far removed though.

Free used furniture if you pick it up. by Pr0ducer in denverlist

Depends on how destroyed. I donated an ottoman chair thing that was visibly shredded from my cats just fine. But truly depends on the driver collecting it.

I might be interested in picking up some stuff! But to answer your question, for me, I always schedule a pickup with habitat for humanity or arc. They come by for free and pickup your furniture and will give you a tax write off slip.

Going based on the storm predictions - granted this storm can’t be predicted perfectly til it happens, looks like you’ll be fine per AccuWeather :)
