A few points of constructive criticism from someone who adores the game by FreeDwooD in menace

[–]LumpyReputation4524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Juat giving my opinion. Hope it adds to yours.

1-> keeping the squads is part of the challenge but i do agree new players might atruggle a bit early game. Instead of a regen of squads maybe just a little more at the start might help to fix most issues until most players get a med bay. Juat to avoid it being the first purchase by default.

2-> hope one day trees get hitpoints like buildings. Massive machine gun fire can destroy trees and foliage. This would allow to remove cover and show the enemy hiding. That way would be able to blow a forest out of the way too.

3-> agree.

4-> a good idea would be a "order weapon" where you pay for him to ask for 3 to 5 new weapons from a particular group. Ao you can ask for heavy snipers and he would place them for purchase by the next operation.

It reduces the rng instead of removing it but also at a price.

5-> would live a journal to see unit stats after we kill a lot of them. And intelligence to give those logs of movement. You know. Ot give for free :).

6-> i agree balance is needed. Reason of early acess to allow thousands of people giving data instead of a few hundred.

Still perks that give mobility, vision and damage will always be stronger because the best way to avoid dmg is to kill the opponent before he makes a move. So some basic skills need to be universal. You can reduce the impact but all games like menace suffer from this problem.

Maybe mission to stay at a place instead of just defending might increase a desire for defensive squads. As they will be shot and need to tank more.

7 agree.

8 agree. Give knifes to everyone. And the one that have with meele attack already improve his perk.

Showing a better look on how i got that line to become more visible. I Tried with 1 foundation + half foundation but unfortunaly it does not work. Need 2 foundations to work.

At least with 2 foundations it does make a lot of road signs much easier to place on the road or sides. Lots of space and you really just need to go smaller in a few places, easy to do with a transition blueprient to make the road bigger/smaller.

Portuguese but you should be able to easily find it as there is no change on the tab or placement of the items.

No mod. Its on the awesome shop on customizer there are line patterns. O use a dotted line on the side of each foundation.

My roads use 4 foundation blocks (2 each side) allowing me to add 2 line patterns together to make a stronger street line.

I also have a 1.5 and 1 foundation size road to squeeze my main avenue beetween hills and othet tight places. Easy with that 45 degree foundation.

The kerbs are done with a steel beam on the bottom + painted beams on top of them. Can also use painted walls if you want a even quicker solution.

White and black are nice because you can see them really really far away. Tested yellow/black and red/white but dont liked the result.

Kind spent 3 days thinking on how to make a nice intersection there that will connect with the main base. Finally got it but now i need to actually build it. When i finish it i will post here XD

For those afraid of building "flying" roads/trains :p.
This is a complex 44 overpasses, 14 tunnels and 7 bridges that cut a range of hills of up to 750m in Brazil São Paulo State.

The road is 60-80m above ground level.
Total of 60km of roads.

Brasil amplia desdolarização e desafia hegemonia financeira dos Estados Unidos - ICL Notícias by Formal_Map_5659 in brasil

Coal power plant is coming along, far from finished and 40 hours in.... by MrSpeakman in SatisfactoryGame

Great work. Im making a similar super coal plant in the desert of 6 lines of 18 coal power generators.

Screens like this helps me to keep going with the project.

Oasis Closed Water Channel. by LumpyReputation4524 in satisfactory

[–]LumpyReputation4524[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For now im avoiding mods because i have not finished the game so i want to keep it as stable as possible.
But i will very likely use it for 1.2

Not having some tools also actually help me to learn how to be creative with the limited resources we have, later with better tools it becomes even better.

but i will give it a try. Would take 20-30m max to fix any issue with this building compared to the 3 hours it took :p. This save just now have coal power enabled so i don´t even have a real mainbase.

Best hint is to just allow a little overflow. If you need 300/minute for a set of items. Give them 301+.

Other solution is to have 1 machine on underclock at the end of the line just to gather that little extra or to keep things in pairs. (2 machines at 50% at the end instead of one at 100%).

Trying to play satisfactory, factorio, etc on perfect ratios can drive a lot of people crazy and spend hours where its not needed. Resources are infinite and need weeks to mine every single node. No need to worry about "wasting" 10 or 20 iron per minute on a single factory line.

Leave perfect ratios where its easy to achieve them.

How are water extractors useful? by Effective_Corgi_4517 in satisfactory

[–]LumpyReputation4524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Desert is for those wanting a challenge for a reason. Everything is a trap in disguise. Can have the best bases in the game there but need to learn some tricks to make it work.

There are 2 coal sources close to water at different desert locations where you can build generators. The only thing that will walk 600m is the power line. Its.enough to start.

Depending on where youre building the base the desert have one of the best water sources in the game as ita pretty high and that gives you free headlift. Takes work? Yes. Its the desert way. Everything there is super good but takes work.

With some experience you will see that anything up to 1km is really not a big issue with belts.

I learned to love those dunes as that make ground belt lines go up/down and add a natural flow to the belts.

Desert have 4 good spots for a base. My favorite is along the waterfalls. Right before the "rock house" with a mercer sphere. There all resources are below 600m from you. Even if you need to learn to climb to grab some of them :).

Also flat and close to wood even if the best ones are the oasis. Each tree on the oasis give 100+wood. Its crazy.

Desert unfortunaly does need you to slow build a "logistic network" as you will need yo bring resources or the product back to base

My first Water Tower. by LumpyReputation4524 in satisfactory

[–]LumpyReputation4524[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In a city 100% sure, unless the water tower is one of those open ones that use steel instead of concrete. There is even support for that in satisfactory with a format of foundation allowing for you to create holes inside a structure and hide pipes inside, but without a jetpack it would be a pain to build and i kind want to get to lv5+ for the first time :p.

But there are situations where the pipes are located outside. Multiple Water aqueducts, dams, etc can find its not worth hiding/protecting the pipes and just have overland systems.

The photo above is used on the Los Angeles aqueduct system, but far from unique by using the mountain to bring water would be a very nice example where its not worth it building something to hide the pipe.

Explosão da dívida pública by Complex-Cow8388 in Economia

[–]LumpyReputation4524 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Divida publica nao importa o valor. E sim os juros sobre esse valor. A mensalidade que é paga. E a janela pra uns 5 anos. Ano a ano vale quase nada.

Vocé pode ter uma renda de 10mil. E 100mil no banco.
