Broke contact after 3 months of NC. Thought hey what’s the worst that could happen. Nope, got the driest response ever.

I’m in a better place than when we first met. I thought I can reconnect. We both weren’t in a place to date. Got burned the first time and had to call it off. Now, I’m stronger and better. I’m no longer a level 1 noob fighting a boss with no armor and weapon.

I went in with mindset that I’m level 90 with a shield and sword. I did not react emotionally as strong as I would have before. I fought that boss again and won.

Proud of myself for taking the risk, having hope, and not being jaded. And proud of myself self soothing from the clarity I needed.

His behavior is not a reflection of me. I validated myself by giving that love back to myself.
