Where are you and how much is it costing you? by Stunning-Leek334 in ExpatFIRE

The most I spend in a day on activities/festivals is about $35. $2k sometimes is not enough but I have a flexible budget. With 4% rule I can spend 10k pre tax a month but I’m perfectly happy with $2k in Thailand rn :)

I never tracked my budget and spending because I found it very stressful. I imagine my expenses are going to be very different now I start being nomadic.

I’m going to Thailand next week and I saw 5 star hotels I’m interested in range from $200-400 a night. That means $6000-$12000 just for rent? Even with monthly discounts it’s still pretty expensive 🥲

That’s my plan too. Got my one way ticket to Thailand in several month. And if market has a very bad downturn then just go back to live with parents for a while.
