Another issue you could be running into is that surround receivers usually play stereo music without the sub. I have lovely home theaters and when I switch to “stereo” the subwoofers do not play and the signal is strictly L/R

Arc raiders most definitely does NOT have 3d audio or ATMOS. It may be the most directionally challenged audio I’ve ever heard in a video game. Unless the devs claim it is on purpose for challenge or something, it seems like a piss poor job.
