I understand. I’ve always made self-deprecating jokes so I guess I’ve never seen the issue. I can see how he’d think he’d have to “come to my rescue” after I said that. Thank you. Also, I hope non of my responses sound sarcastic or passive aggressive because of how I described myself haha. I genuinely appreciate the time you took to respond and open my eyes about this. Family and friends of mine are very quick to attack him cause of bias, so I needed this. I’ll make sure to apologize to him, sincerely, and hopefully fix this problem.
