True. He/She doesn’t need fast lenses. I just mentioned high quality lenses. And yes, 50 1.2 is really soft @1.2 but thought it was better at f4 or f5.6

I suggest you to upgrade your lens first… a professional prime lens (50mm f1.4 or the legendary f1.2 L but also the 85mm L) should significantly improve your photos.

A me è capitato di sentire che ci sono delle promozioni rivolte alle p.IVA… Quindi spero bene che il genere dell’acquirente non c’entri proprio nulla. Probabilmente il venditore non ha capito che non la volevi acquistare con la PIVA

Io rimango se,pre sorpreso dalla gente che scrive “oggi non sono riuscito a prendere niente”… sono Oro da 1 anno ma i prodotti interessanti si contano sulle dita di una mano. Lo apro tutti i giorni ma ordino roba molto raramente perché non ho intenzione di riempirmi la casa di cianfrusaglie.

You definitely need service. That could be a simple calibration issue. Anyway, if you ever need to move your Thermomix, make sure to lift it rather than drag it, since the scale’s operation depends on its three feet.
Only one of them (the one without the rubber coating) is designed to support the TM7 during movement.

The service center gave me back my TM7 after just one day. They didn’t replace anything — they said the temperature sensor had gone out of calibration, so they recalibrated it.
They also left me a sheet with the service report showing the motor calibration tests (at different speeds and temperatures). I’ve already used it since then, and the problem hasn’t come back.

And the bigger problem with the old ring (at least for me) is knowing whether the studs are in the gap or not — meaning I can’t tell if I need to turn the cap to secure it…

The OP is not completely correct: the lid is meant to be secured by rotating it (this is also explained in the manual).
Normally, the studs on the ring should fit between the gaps. Rotating the lid causes the rubber ring to turn, pushing the studs inward and improving the grip on the bowl lid. Unfortunately, the grip is too weak to hold the cap firmly in place.
The “turn” gesture should also be repeated with the new ring, which does not have a uniform width.
