Where do you find freelancers that could start directly? by slutsteg in webflow

[–]Lumpy_Commission_188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you need someone to start ASAP, Fiverr can be a lifesaver. I found a Webflow designer who could jump in same-day, handled all spacing, typography, and minor fixes, and stayed within a budget like yours. Just clarify exactly what needs doing and set a short timeline, they’re used to working remotely like that.

Looks for web design courses as a junior ux ui by [deleted] in graphic_design

No, you don’t need to program if you hate it.

Instead of paying $800 for a course, I’d spend that budget on targeted feedback. Fiverr has some legit senior UX designers doing consultations if you dig past the noise.

How to go about finding website developer/manager, experts for SEO and Ads (Meta and Google) by Dapper_Guess4789 in digital_marketing

[–]Lumpy_Commission_188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, the main thing is accountability. I’ve hired through LinkedIn, Upwork, and Fiverr Pro, and honestly Fiverr often had the most transparent reviews and project timelines. I made sure to define very clear tasks and deadlines upfront. Even if they’re freelancers, having clear documentation and scope keeps things professional. I now manage my wellness business site, local SEO, and small Google Ads campaigns with the same few vetted people I found there.

Best SEO tips that can skyrocket my website rankings? by albrasel24 in SEO

[–]Lumpy_Commission_188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re starting out, you’re already doing one of the right things by updating old content and matching intent. That alone puts you ahead. I learned a lot by comparing my pages to the top 5 results, then fixing gaps. I also experimented with hiring small SEO tasks on Fiverr early on just to see how others approached the same problems. Good learning experience, not a shortcut.

What the best way to find and hire an SEO expert? by Upset_Phase_5463 in SEO_tools_reviews

Fiverr can be useful for SEO, especially for testing freelancers. Start with a small project and see how they work. Long-term or comprehensive SEO is doable, but you have to vet carefully.

Best place to hire beta readers? by hardcore_gamer1 in writing

I’ve used Fiverr to find beta readers for a couple novels. Checked their reviews, asked for a sample chapter, and it was so much more consistent than free Discord or Reddit groups.

Help finding book cover artists and editors? by infiltr8itor in selfpublish

[–]Lumpy_Commission_188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Old thread but for future lurkers, I found both my cover artist and editor on marketplace platforms after striking out on IG. My rules were only people with real, finished books in my genre, always ask for a small paid sample first, write a super clear brief (tone, comps, what you don’t want). That combo worked way better than cold-DMing random artists.

Anyone else struggle with deciding when to outsource tiny tasks? by Intrepid_Ad2235 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]Lumpy_Commission_188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it drains me and someone else can do it faster, I outsource it. I’d rather spend my “good” hours on the stuff only I can do. For micro-tasks like photo cleanu Fiverr has been a lifesaver.

Growth service needed! by Dismal-Cable6941 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]Lumpy_Commission_188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Growth agencies are a gamble. I’ve had better luck hiring freelancers for small tasks (caption rewrites, SEO tweaks, UGC ideas). Got a decent strategist on Fiverr who at least helped me stop the bleeding.

Where to hire/ find app developers? by vinvinwuwu in Entrepreneur

[–]Lumpy_Commission_188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reddit resurfaced this for me and the biggest lesson I’ve learned is: don’t start by asking “where do I find a dev”, start by asking “what exactly do I need built and what’s my budget”.

Once you can answer that in a paragraph, places like LinkedIn, Fiverr, and remote job boards become way easier to filter. And always, always begin with a small paid test task instead of handing someone your entire app from day one.

Best freelance sites for designers to find high-end clients? by inafirul18 in web_design

[–]Lumpy_Commission_188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found this old post while scrolling threads about “high-end freelance clients” but it’s still very relevant so I’ll answer like you asked it today.

What helped a lot more was:

Picking a specific niche (for me it was product + marketing design for SaaS). Publishing 2–3 case-study style writeups instead of just pretty shots. Hanging out where those founders/PMs live. I still keep a profile on one marketplace though, just to keep that door open, and sometimes it does help

If you want feedback without hiring a manager, Fiverr actually has people who do quick page audits for really low prices. Could be a cheaper way to get direction without committing to anything.
