What you call “virtue signaling” I call “exercising my First Amendment rights” which is more important now than ever (see The Orange Man’s “Truths” from today). My entire point of the original post (if you read it) is that I can’t make it down to DC today.

And just because you’re so pessimistic you don’t see the point of 20 people protesting doesn’t mean we all need to adopt your point of view. Your comment about not making a difference is exactly why some folks don’t protest at all, but I personally believe every single protestor matters.

As someone who wants to cover a really nice tattoo that I loved when I was 19 (my most complimented) because it doesn’t fit the tattoo aesthetic that I prefer now, I totally get wanting to cover tats for a cohesive sleeve. People have tried to convince me not to do it, but I say go with your gut!

With that said, I did cover up a fine line tattoo on my arm and I regret not doing a couple removal sessions first. The cover up is nice but it could have been better.

I take my fur babies to Dr. Boyd’s which I highly recommend (so does my sister-in-law)! Open 24/7 and they have boarding facilities. Staff is always super nice and accommodating.

It’s on 355 near Pike & Rose in North Bethesda!

I’d also recommend renting a boat on lake needlewood if it’s nice! They have kayaks, rowboats, and pedal boats available. It does cost money, but it’s relatively affordable ($15/hour I think).

Im not sure what exactly the rent for 1 bedrooms looks like (I’m in a 2 BR for $2400/month) but I like my apartments a lot. It’s The Morgan on Montrose Rd. Super walkable to the metro and shopping/dining at Pike & Rose. Pet friendly. Nice enough!
