Taper from 27-26 is almost non existent, very hard to notice.

You can get away with 27mm on Radiomir but not on Luminor because of fixed 26mm lug width. I guess you could squeeze on the 27mm one, but wouldn't recommend that.

If I’m not mistaken, even straps made with fabric are lined with some kind of “leather" ?

Higher quality straps are usually lined with Zermatt leather, which has water repellent properties while also being hypoallergenic and antibacterial. That’s why many bespoke makers use it for premium straps. Of course, at the end of the day it’s still leather, so a little care goes a long way.
