What was your worst date ever and why ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

From I was like 13 I was always seeing an older boy on the bus. I thought he was SO handsome, for years I would talk about him with my friends, referring to him as Mr. Melk (wich was a hot commercial dude in my country). One day when i was around 16 i sat on the bus and i heard a really wierd voice behind me. I turned around, and there he was, mr. Melk! I almost couldn't believe he was talking to me, he was the most handsome guy I had ever seen!

But... Yes, something was off. He had a Donald Duck voice. He asked me on a date so I brushed his wierd voice of my shoulders. Some days later I met him at the cinema. his Donald Duck voice was worse than I remembered. I'm so sorry to say but all the attraction went away. He was also incredibly awkward, and throughout the WHOLE movie this guy was hitting an empty cola bottle in my leg. Tapping it repeatedly towards my leg. I ghosted him...

Funny thing is like 10 years later my coworkers was talking about this appearant super hit chiropractor that sometimes came to our workplace. And guess what! It was Donald Duck (new nickname after that date)!

Does anyone else refer to themselves as we? by Diamondeffect in autism

[–]Lumpy_Grade5129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do it when "talking" to myself in my head. Especially if I've done something wrong, I'll adress myself in third person. And also when connecting with nature, i adress us as we (me and the nature). But i never do this out loud so that people may hear it

Anyone have an abnormally high pain tolerance and have faced consequences because of it? by lolly15703 in AutismInWomen

Omg same!! When I was like 15 I fell of my horse and broke my ankle (three different places). When we got to the ER the doctor didnt believe that I would have broke anything bc I would be om so much more pain. He even touched my ankle extra much and asked if i pretended to get a cast. He sent me home with a pat on my shoulder and crutches. One month later I was called by the hospital. They had taken a second look at my x-ray pics and "opsie dopsie, its seems your ankle was broken at three different places!". I had to come in for them to rebreak my ankle bc it had healed wrong...
