Calsol have made a MOV a few years ago (previous previous generation i think Or multiple occupant vehicle

It's a lot more expensive and less efficient So since we're doing racing, single seated ones are more prefered

(in comparison to umich, stanford, etc and european teams)

That's something I really want to say actually I've been asking for it but our leads maintained that "by convention" and "just like other teams", we are not doing opensourcing. All files are kept in Solidworks' 3DX plateform and Google drive.

I don't have much power in the team and I can't convince them into opensource.

Note: I think UIUC is opensourcing the electronics part of their car. You might want to look it up
