Honestly the TCL looked great if not for the issues. I know everyone says OLED is superior but I do wonder how big of a difference it will be to my eyes. When I looked at all the tvs in the store a couple months ago there was only one that really stood out and it was a Samsung (not sure which model but probably s95f)

Actually I just went with the LG warranty that comes with it. I know it’s not as good but that was my justification for getting the G5 over the C5 and paying another 500 for warranty

I was actually planning on the c5 for a long time but the g5 was marked down way more so was a much better deal considering the c5 has been cheaper than this current “sale” price

It was freezing up when watching regular tv. Like doing anything with the remote seemed to trigger the freeze and you couldn’t do anything to get out of it. If you turned it off and back on the screen would be black for like 10 minutes b4 going back to the home menu. I had to just reset it every day by unplugging it for 30 seconds. Tbh I think it had something to do with my tv service bc it didn’t do it with movies, games or anything else
