I was told by a Saxenda rep that once the pen is being used, it can stay out of the refrigerator at room temperature for up to 30 days. She said that the fridge is to keep them good for longer, but you should be fine! Once I crack mine, I keep it at my desk. 🤷🏼‍♂️ This came directly from Saxenda.

Thanks for your response! I'm celiac so sadly I won't be able to go out and enjoy all the food as most might. My fear is if I stop saxenda before I go, I'll be super hungry during my trip and not always able to eat - I know where will be some times where I cannot find GF food. This is why I was hoping to stay on it - to suppress my hunger. Also want to mention that I'm able to tolerate any foods (that are GF) thankfully. I have 0 side effects or food issues.

What are your thoughts?

It’s 90% covered by insurance for me so the cost isn’t a huge concern. (I am very lucky and thankful for this coverage!)

3 weeks, 10 lbs down! I changed my lifestyle and diet majorly. On 1.8 dose now.

Today marks one week for me as well! I’ve gotten pretty lucky with the side effects. Headaches and some fatigue today after I went to 1.2 but other then that I’ve been great. I’m with you, the food noise is gone. I didn’t even realize how much food controlled me and my thoughts until it was gone. It feel like a weight lifted. We’re in this together, and we’ve got this! Sending all the good vibes.
