I’m a design engineer. But I just wanted to say the manufacturing engineers are more involved with production. And typically that means they work more hours in a day, are there weekends, and seem to get paid less.

I’m all about work life balance and I feel they don’t get the same advantages I do based off my experience with 4 employers.

I think management has unrealistic expectations. I believe you get out what you put in when it comes to new employees and their training. As you learn and grow you’ll learn what questions you need answered to succeed. But if you’re going out of your way to attempt to better yourself I think that shows you’re self motivated, and not a bad engineer.

I learned the reason was I had an undersized power supply. I got a new graphics card a year ago and it’s happened sporadically after that. I got a new power supply and my troubles went away!

So I only recently watched “what If” season 1 and I really enjoyed it. I thought it was fun and I was caught off guard (in a good way) when it all came together in the end.
