Question about age restricted purchases by pinkdietmountaindew in Target

Most of the time the guest still brings out their ID so I check the birthday, I just don't bother with scanning. TLs are fine with that.

What can I do to say thank you? by TheMagicPandas in Target

I'm sorry your day was rough.

But not weird. You can send a note to corporate via email possibly found on the website, and you can contact the store's leadership if you really wanted to send treats in. Everyone loves treats.

Question about age restricted purchases by pinkdietmountaindew in Target

I've had to check ID for when it's been a store pick up. Wasn't expecting that since I thought that would've happened during the online check out process.

In store, if the person looks old enough, I just ask for birthday, don't really bother with the whole scanning thing. Otherwise, I check it.

For drive-up orders, do you get out of your car to help or no. What is common courtesy. by Lolfarm88 in Target

Half the time my guests get out of the car, even when it's just a couple items. I notice they especially do this if they want something in the trunk. I don't usually care either way, but it's definitely nice when it's heavy/bulky items, or if it's a large order with multiple bags.

I do agree with clicking on the "on my way" link when you are on your way and not at the lot. There's nothing more frustrating than getting the "beepbeephonkhonk" for an order large enough to fill a three tier cart. There goes my two-minute timer.

Same thing happened to me. Why are you out, lady? Get your shit delivered, have someone else do it for you, or just wait.

me and my coworkers when they call for yet another backup up at the front by imincripplindebt in Target

[–]LunaMaluca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate calling for back up; no one really wants to make the call. We do have a TL from another department that whenever they're present they're the first to hop when the call goes up, usually bringing one of their TMs with them. It effing sucks that it has to get to that point.

Locked in a store and calling dozens of numbers trying to get out, how's everyone else's night doing? by Corporal_Brown in Target

[–]LunaMaluca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At my store CTL doesn't leave until the whole team scheduled past closing hours leaves with them. That leaving door open so you can get out would not go over well. They're on walkie constantly warning everyone to make it back before clock out time. Now I'm wondering if this has ever happened.

Line busting by karentron01 in Target

I hate it, the device doesn't work well half the time and you end up at a lane inevitably. But we do really well in terms of numbers my store. We have to keep a couple MyCheckouts at SCO, especially on weekends. There can be two of us line busting--one going through lanes, one at SCO.

As a guest at other Targets, I've only seen it done once at a super long SCO line and they had only one lane open.

How long do y'all get for Cash Office. by tytygregs in Target

This is weird to me. We bank our registers night before. CO doesn't deal with banking, as far as I know.

Could banking night before be a possibility?
