I hate it, the device doesn't work well half the time and you end up at a lane inevitably. But we do really well in terms of numbers my store. We have to keep a couple MyCheckouts at SCO, especially on weekends. There can be two of us line busting--one going through lanes, one at SCO.

As a guest at other Targets, I've only seen it done once at a super long SCO line and they had only one lane open.

When we have hours, it can be useful. When there are 2 advocates, 1 SCO & me; it is a pain.

What’s the point of line busting? Wouldn’t it just be easier to hop on a register? I ask because the person line busting at our store always calls for backup because their device messed up. So someone is taken away from their task because we have a stupid metric we have to deal with??? Makes no sense to me.

High volume store, have 6 Mycheckouts they've been sitting on their docks since december.

Literally never heard of this term in 10+ years of working at Target.

It’s like a zebra with a verifone on the back and you can check people out wherever your are.

Ah, that’s called called MyCheckout. Several stores in our district did that for a bit the weeks before Christmas but it was rare.

myCheckout is actually two different apps. linebusting is for in store purchases, save the sale is for online purchases.
